These hindquarter products are certified kosher under qualified Sephardic rabbinical supervision. Sephardic and Ashkenazic communities follow different traditions and standards regarding nikkur, the specialized removal of prohibited fats, veins, and the sciatic nerve from the animal's hindquarters.

Because Kosher Miami (KM) follows Ashkenazic certification standards and does not supervise these hindquarter products, they are not certified or endorsed by KM. Customers should follow their personal or community rabbinical guidance before purchasing.
