Simple and Delicious bone Flanken Recipe
Ingredients:
- 5 lbs 5 bone flanken
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Drizzle of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 diced onions
- 1/2 cup mustard
*Instructions:*
1. *Preheat the Oven*: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. *Prepare the Meat*: Place the bone flanken in a large baking dish.
3. Season the Meat: In a bowl, combine the paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, brown sugar, and a drizzle of olive oil. Mix well to create a seasoning blend.
4. Add Onions and Mustard: Sprinkle the diced onions over the meat, then spread the mustard on top. (Skip the mustard and prepare it for pesach!)
5. Apply the Seasoning: Pour the seasoning mixture evenly over the rib flanken, ensuring it is well-coated.
6. Cover and Bake: Cover the baking dish with foil to retain moisture. Bake in the preheated oven for 3 to 4 hours, until the meat is tender.
7. Serve and Enjoy: After cooking, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your flavorful rib flanken!
