Red wine braised brisket
Ingredients:
– 2.5 kg of brisket
– 500 ml of red dry wine
– 240 ml of honey
– 2 tablespoons of paprika (paprika)
– 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
– 2 tablespoons of garlic powder
– 3 tablespoons of olive oil
– 4 onions, cut into julienne strips
– 1 tablespoon full of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 150 °C (300 °F).
2. In a large bowl, mix the red wine, honey, paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, olive oil and salt.
3. Place the brisket on a baking sheet and cover with the marinade mixture. Make sure the brisket is well impregnated.
4. Add the julienned onions on and around the meat.
5. Cover the tray with aluminum foil, making sure to seal it well.
6. Bake for 4 to 5 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily undone with a fork.
7. Remove from the oven, let stand for a few minutes, cut into slices and serve.
